Today we had a student post a comment on social media which induced panic. The post did not identify a specific threat but was threatening in nature. The authorities were notified and the student was detained at the start of the school day. At no point were any NWL students in danger. We commend the parents and students who immediately notified the authorities and the school as soon as the post became public. We are also very thankful for the fast actions of our staff, the Clark County Sheriffs Department, and German Township Police Department. Their actions helped keep our kids safe. Parents, please take this opportunity to talk to your students about what they post on social media. Make sure you know what they are posting. Help us, work with us, and let's keep all of our kids safe.
