The preschool program at Northwestern Elementary provides a developmentally appropriate curriculum based upon Ohio's Early Learning and Development Standards for peer models and for children with disabilities between the ages of three and five.

Our curriculum focus on strengthening the following areas of development:

- Cognitive/Pre-Academic

- Fine and Gross Motor

- Communication

- Social/Emotional

- Adaptive Behavior

We offer morning or afternoon sessions Monday and/or itinerant services for children with disabilities. Each preschool classroom may provide services for up to 16 students with as many as 8 students receiving special education services and a maximum of 8 students participating in the classroom as peer models. For those students serving as peer models, monthly tuition is $145.00.
