Diana Buffenbarger, a dedicated staff member, passed away late last week. In order for her Warrior family to attend her services and pay respect to her family, Northwestern Elementary will not be in session on Thursday, March 4, 2024.
The Junior/Senior High School will remain open as usual.

For only those elementary students assigned to BUS 2 in Honey Creek MHP, please be ready and awaiting BUS 23's arrival by 8:15 a.m.

NW Elementary Families: Next Wednesday, March 13th, the Clark County Child Advocacy Center will be presenting safety lessons to all kindergarten through 6th-grade students that address Erin's Law. If you do not want your child to participate, please return the Opt-Out form sent home in last week's Friday folders. These forms are due by Friday, March 8th. If you live at Chateau Estates, we ask that your students be ready for pickup at 8:15 a.m. If you live at Honey Creek, we ask that your students be ready for pickup at 8:20 a.m. This change will impact the a.m. route for Bus 2 riders only. NW Elementary: The NW Elementary Student Council is having a SOUP-ER Bowl Canned Food Drive next week! Students may donate non-perishable food and bring to school during the week of February 6th-9th. The winning homeroom class with the most items donated will receive a pizza party!

NW Elementary Students who participated in the Warrior Youth Basketball Home League in December are eligible to come and play at halftime of the Varsity game tomorrow, January 19. Meet in the junior high gym at 7:30 p.m. to receive your camp T-shirt and prepare to go out at halftime of the varsity game around 8:00 p.m. All NW Basketball Home League participants will get into the varsity game for free. However, parents and guests will have to purchase tickets at the gate.

NW Elementary: Today is our fundraiser Cash Prize Day! Students who won anything under $20.00 will be sent home with their cash prize today. Any students who won over $20.00 will need to have their prize signed out in the office. Check with your student after school today for their cash prize or a slip from the office letting you know their prize total. Cash prizes can be picked up in the office Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Thank you!
NW Elementary: Elementary report cards will be sent home today unless fees are owed. Please make sure the envelope is signed and returned as soon as possible. Students who are on reading improvement and monitoring plans (RIMPs) also need those signed and returned. Thank you!
NW Elementary: The fundraiser Cash Prize Day will now be on Friday, January 12th during school hours. The students who earned the following prizes will participate: Wallet Prize, Cash Money Box Grab Prize and Mystery Cash Balloon Prize. Thank you!
