Hello Parents of Students in Grade 7 - 11. Mark your calendars for the annual College Credit Plus (CCP) meetings. This meeting is for parents of students who wish to earn college credit during high school for the 2026 - 2027 school year. Students must be college ready and meet college requirements to participate. Please join us to learn more about CCP. There will be two meetings.
County Wide Meeting: Thursday, January 15, 5:30 - 7:30 PM. 5:30 - 6:30 meet with college reps. 6:30 large group information session. 7:00 break out sessions with high school counselors.
CCP Recap Meeting: Wednesday, January 28 at 6:00 PM. This meeting will focus on how students can take college classes at the Jr./Sr. High School.

Northwestern community, for Veterans Day, students at Northwestern Junior/Senior High School will once again be writing letters as a part of our Veterans Day program activities. As in recent years, veteran alumni will receive letters of thanks and gratitude from students on or shortly after the holiday. While we already have an existing directory of veteran alumni for mailing, if you know an alumni veteran, please click the link below to submit their name and mailing address. We would love to continue to grow our alumni veterans list, update alumni veteran addresses, and above all, to show our thanks and appreciation for our veterans!

A few TIPS to make for a great experience...
· Get your order in early. Prepay ordering will close on Thurs, Oct 30 at 12 noon.
· Put the STUDENT’S name in the “recipient” field
· If you have multiple students, please do a SEPARATE order for EACH student
We hope this message finds you well. Beginning this grading period, Northwestern Jr./Sr. High School will make student grade cards available online through ProgressBook on October 24, 2025, for the first quarter. In an effort to improve access to academic information, we will no longer mail hard copies of report cards home.
Parents and guardians can view their child's grades, attendance, and teacher comments directly by logging into their ProgressBook Parent Access account. This allows you to see grades in real time and stay informed about your student's academic progress throughout the school year.
If you do not yet have a ProgressBook account or need assistance accessing it, please contact Jenn Timmons by emailing timmonsj@nwlschools.org for support.
